“ We got stuck in Smithers after trying to go home and our flight was cancelled this restaurant was fantastic, the best food and service in town. The roadhouse turned us away and we did not have a good experience the other day with them so we tried somewhere new. This place is fantastic from service, food to the beautiful lounge and restaurant. ”
“ We were here as a large group, which is always a challenge for the staff. They did great though, the server kept a smile on her face even when dealing with boisteroushockey players. Drinks came out quickly, extra chairs were found, food came out fairly fast, hot, and close to the same time. The River burger was a hit with my kid, bonus points for having a burger with shrimp on it. Love. The hot chicken salad was great. I could have done with a little less dressing, and a little more Cajun spice. I would totally order it again, just ask for dressing on the side. Atmosphere was great, very comfortable/warm. ”

We had the Riverhouse Salad, Smoked Salmon Bagel and the Brazilian Breakfast. Everything was amazing, the waitress was great and the prices were reasonable. I imagine this place would have a fantastic atmosphere at night, so hopefully we can check it out on another roadtrip. ”

“ Showed up here in a bad mood after trying to find somewhere to eat with my kids. We tried stopping at 3 other places in Smithers first, and nowhere else was able to accommodate us or had parking anywhere near. Waitresses were awesome, turned my mood around 180 and the food was just as amazing, I had Chicken Cordon Blue and it was perfect, kids all tried a bite too and loved it and according to them they have the very best poutine will definitely come back again ”
